Hi, I'm Dr Alice Liddell, a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years' experience, specialising in developmental and attachment trauma. Following several years in complex adult mental health within the NHS, I transitioned into independent practice to deepen my expertise in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I've completed training in IFS Levels 1 and 2, as well as the couples-focused Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) approach.
I specialise in supporting individuals struggling with self-criticism, perfectionism, excessive striving, avoidance strategies, anger and people-pleasing—challenges that often impact relationships, work, and overall wellbeing. I also have a particular interest in exploring cultural or ancestral burdens; as well as helping parents break intergenerational cycles. This often shows up as trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, co-dependency.
My personal transformative journey with IFS beginning in 2019 has provided deep insights, dedicated self-practice, and a genuine passion for the profound shifts it facilitates. My therapeutic style is warm, curious, playful, and tailored specifically to your needs. By integrating IFS with ACT, CFT, MBCT,CBT, and somatic practices, I'll guide you to reconnect with your inner wisdom, reclaim lost parts of yourself, and achieve your life goals with confidence.
